I Picked Up the Paper Today...

And was totally outdone!  There was an article talking about ethnic mutts, some foolishness about Facebook scams that probably haven't been circulating since last year, and other such nonsense that does not concern me.  I just don't get how a paper that I am suppose to identify with can be so irrelevant to me.  There was a small area of interest that discussed some current things going on in the world, but again, I am only able to recall scandal.  Local news is just as bad.  I read once on a site that offered simple ways to relieve stress, and one of the top ways listed was not to indulge in local news.  The suggestion was in no means to cut you off from what's going on, as a matter of fact, it was advised to instead get your news on the world level instead.  The reason given is because it is so emotionally charged and depressing.  There is nothing we can do, yet we burden ourselves and our minds with what we see.  I now agree.  I have problems of my own, enough things on m

Appapalooza: Flipboard

All I can say about this app is that it is the be all end all for the literary inclined!  I love how it can be completely customized and only display things you find relevant, even your social media!  It's like taking all the things you love to do on your phone and having it organized in a digital magazine layout.  You can even create your own magazines!  This app makes me feel like I'm a whole lot more techno savvy than I really am.  Best part of all?!  I can make me my top story!!! Ha!!
