Shopaholics Unite!!

It's no secret that I gets DOWN when it comes to shopping.  It almost KILLS me to pay full price for an item.  Missing a sale is a travesty!  I Love to shop and there's no way around it.  Something that I recently got back into that I haven't been doing for a while is online shopping.  I have gotten to the point where I REFUSE to go into a store and shop for cosmetics.  Not that I haven't tried, but I get completely overwhelmed when there's more than half an isle with more than 10 brands to choose from.  No thank you, I will continue to canvas the sites I love from the comfort of my own home where I won't be judged at checkout for the obscene amount of items purchased.

Online shopping is the place to BE!  I'm trying to educate you here!  The sales are so much more incredible, there's always some type of promotion going on, online coupon codes are ALWAYS floating around the internet, AND, most sites offer free shipping! One thing I will mention to those of us who aren't as familiar with the Internet shopping world, stick with brands you know, or places you have been for cut/fit's sake.  Once you get a better feel for the way things work on a particular site, then you can venture off into more uncharted territory.  Unless stores like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, or Rugged Warhouse start offering their one of a kind deals and steals online, I can say I'm not a COMPLETE convert, however, slowly but surely I find myself turning to online alternatives for super-flyness and satisfying an in curable ailment!

Crystals and Couture

Those just might be my 2 favorite C words known to man!  With the start of a new year, it's only right I acquire a little bit of both!  I've had my eyes peeled for the past few weeks for all of the best sales; I had my heart set on a new piece of Rainbow Tourmaline and Rose Quartz(see below for crystal properties and uses if you aren't familiar!).  At the same time, I have also been dreaming of some new bags; crossbodys and a satchel, to be specific; a little on the fancy side though.  All of my work was not in vain because guess what?!  Marshall's is now carrying Badgley Mischka handbags and wallets-mike drop...but it gets even BETTER-not one item is priced over $29.99!!  Wait, What?!  Yes Please!!  Amazon has 1 lb of Raw Rainbow Tourmaline AND Rose Quartz for under $15.00.  I also came across a National Geographic Rock Polisher for $39.99!!  Your girl is absolutely THRILLED!!  What crystals do you have your eye on?!  Have you guys come up on any superstar purse deal

Delightfully Disconnected

This idea started in my journal this morning, then I later thought to pose it to the rest of the world...I recently came across an article (linked below the post) on theminsjournal.com that talked about lucid dreaming.  I no longer believe in coincidence, an took this as a response to the unanswered questions bouncing around in my head about what is actually HAPPENING to my mind and thought process as I grow, evolve, and change.  It broke me down in plain English, and helped me gain much-needed clarity on my current situation... What the article basically said, in a nutshell is that we are never truly awake until/unless we are completely focused, and living in the present moment.  The concepts of past, present, and future are all one construct; all existing right now, simultaneously.  In essence, we are constantly experiencing these things both consciously, and subconsciously.  What we do from day to day, is experienced through a state of Lucid Dreaming; a sort of half conscious

The Mis-Education of Basic Bi***es

Today's Inspiration: #1 Stunner...Baby The Mis-Education of Basic Bi***es As Our Story Was Previously Unfolding...we were standing in front of an establishment that shall remain nameless, being blinded by some real mess. Per our last conversation, this is where the BKs and I were contemplating just what it took to be Barbie. As we were all adding our respective ideas to the mental list, it was apparent, the Basic rocking the charm, much to our disappointment, we no Barbie. This is where situation turned from nostalgic to pitiful. By no means were we gonna let this masquerade continue,  so as real OGs, we felt at this point, it was time to take action. I couldn't honestly, in good conscience, blame any of the subordinates, none of them were rockin the charm.  To keep this official, let's name the leader of the gaggle Skipper, Barbie's younger teenage sister, who just never quite managed to gain the Barbie fame( still waiting in the wings Tho to seize the throne; Bi***he
